Type locality:
Body and appendages pinkish. Rostrum and distal part of P1 fingers dark pink.
Etymology:
From the Greek, typhlos, blind, in reference to the small cornea.
Size:
Males, 2.6-10.4 mm, females 3.6-11.2; ovigerous females from 5.2 mm.
Color:
<p>New Caledonia, 24°00.30´S, 168°07.03´E, 1430–1470 m.</p>
Distribution:
Vanuatu, New Caledonia, French Polynesia (Marquesas Islands, Austral Archipelago), and Taiwan; 500-1470 m.
