Etymology:
From the Greek omma (spot), in reference to the spots on the anterior branchial regions.
Size:
Males 3.5-9.4 mm, females 3.0-7.7 mm, ovigerous females from 5.9 mm.

Indonesia, New Caledonia, Chesterfield Islands, Loyalty Islands, Fiji and Tonga, 205-610 m.
