Etymology:
From the Latin, angustus, slender, thin, in reference to the shape of the carapace.
Size:
Males 4.0-12.5 mm, females 6.0-12.9 mm, ovigerous females from 7.3 mm.
Distribution:
New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga, 327-600 m.
