Type locality:
New Caledonia, 21°41.80´S, 166°40.10´E, 1080–1180 m.
Size:
Males to 16.0 mm, females to 11.1 mm, ovigerous females from 9.3 mm (Macpherson, 2007).
Color:
<p>Carapace generally reddish orange, anterior part of rostrum and cervical grooves whitish. Abdomen reddish orange on second and third segments but whitish on fourth to sixth segments, telson, and uropods. Corneas orange pink. Pereopods white to pale orange.</p>
Distribution:
New Caledonia, Fiji, and Taiwan; 490–1180 m.
