Kei Islands, 5°18´S, 133°01´E, 205–212 m.
Named for the R/V "Baruna Jaya I". by which the material was collected.
Rostral spine separated from supraorbital spines by concave margins; rostrum without elevated ridge in midline. Carapace without distinct elevation in each posterior branchial region; gastric process prominently high but not anteriorly produced. Distomesial spine of the antennal peduncle basal segment long, reaching the end of article 2; distolateral margin of article 2 of the antennal peduncle rounded, terminating in the mid-length of article 3.
Males, 2.2–2.8 mm; ovigerous females, 2.7 mm.
