Antennal article 2 having distolateral spine subequal to distomesial spine. Antennal article 3 with distomesial spine. French Polynesia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Loyalty Islands and Chesterfield Islands, from 5 to 500 m. Some stations covered a wide depth range (e.g. BENTHAUS, DW 1959, 95–380 m), avoiding an accurate knowledge of the depth distribution of the species. However, considering that most occurrences of the species of Sadayoshia are shallower than 100 m, those stations covering a wide depth range should be considered with caution. The occurrence of this species in deeper waters (BENTHAUS, DW 1959, 700–1350 m) is also dubious.
